*It is strongly advised that your immigration consultant assists you in this process.
When you immigrate to a new country – especially on a new continent – you must expect that your line of study or work will not be as much in demand as it was back home. This is why an evaluation of your profile and of your expectations is very important when immigrating to a new country. Discuss this with your consultant.
Yes, of course! However, it is important to have your school documents evaluated by your consultant. By doing so, they will be able to guide you towards the programs for which you are eligible.
Depending on the period during which you complete your request for application, it can take up to 8 working weeks. In the event of a revision regarding your application, the delay will be longer. This is why it is so important to submit your application to your consultant first, so that it can be revised prior to sending.
Costs will vary according to the chosen program. In addition, you will need to consider the consultation fees, application fees and other fees related to your request for a visa. These costs are generally between 1’500.00 CAD and 2’500.00 CAD, before program fees.
Yes. Foreign students who have studied in Quebec can sometimes be eligible to submit a request for a CSQ (Quebec Certificate of Selection) in accordance with the PEQ (Quebec Experience Program) if they meet the requirements. Qualifications vary according to the student’s profile, which is why it is better to seek information from your consultant.
Vocational training in Quebec: A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) certifies that a student has successfully completed a vocational study program (secondary education level) towards a certain trade or occupation.
Technical training in Quebec: An attestation of College Studies (ACS) certifies that a student has successfully completed a technical study program (post-secondary education level) towards a certain trade of occupation.
All programs that lead to a DVS or an ACS are designed by the Quebec Ministry of Education and are updated on a regular basis to ensure that they follow the evolution of the job market. A significant reform of the vocational and technical training systems has occurred in the late ‘80s to provide Quebec with an educational structure equipped to train a quality work force in all of the province’s industries.
Those who have completed a DVS or an ACS are recognized everywhere in Canada and all around the globe.
It is better to concentrate on a program that you truly like and that genuinely interests you.
